I have had a positive experience here. All of the therapists are caring and attentive. They make the process easy.
Where to begin? I have seen other patients and he helps with everything; back, legs, arms, hands, neck, post-surgery, arthritis... The staff are incredible and have good hearts=they care. HE IS GOOD. I recommend him to you if you want to take care of your problem with quality, want someone who actually cares, a clean facility, to be surrounded by the most friendliest of people, a nice and refrigerator cold pt room everyone exercising, and free candy. Parking is abundant. He (plus staff) genuinely cares and the most important part... he listens and DOES SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Now that is what I really wanted. If you hate pain like me, this place is very catering towards pain. Hooking you up to electric massaging or ultrasound is always fun. The jar of Dum Dums make your day sweeter. I couldn't be happier I found this place. Amazing... and I don't say that often.
Mike Barnes, a fine Physical Therapist and very good friend.
I believe that Mike is knowledgable about every muscle and joint of the human body, that might require serious pyhsical therapy. He took very good care of me for several years. He even knew what to do when I started to develop arthritis at the bases of both my thumbs. He developed an excellent overall work-out program for me, that covered both stretching and localized exercises for every muscle group and arthritic joint I told him were problems. He is a very talented and very knowledgable Physical Therapist. Also a very nice guy and good friend!
I got the chance to work with Mr. Barnes and his staff when I was having some knee and foot pain. I had been to other clinics in the past, and felt like everyone at Barnes PT stood out over other locations, and went out of their way to make sure that every patient was treated individually with great care. All of the exercises were explained to me in a way that I could understand, and Mr. Barnes did a great job getting me back to a pain-free activity level in just several weeks! I would highly recommend Mr. Barnes to family and friends.
Excellent Professional staff!
I just completed 12 sessions with Barnes PT secondary to neck spasms. The experience overall was very positive. The ancillary staff were always cheerful, supportive and respectful of the clients. The exercises were explained in detail and the staff watched me perform them at each visit, offering suggestions for improvement if needed. I was impressed that each staff member repeatedly called the clients by their names during the visits....a small gesture but very personal! The office also seems to run very efficiently with minimal waiting time. Dr. Barnes was very knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing PT services.
I had both of my shoulders repaired after tearing my rotator cuff. They were done about a year about. I went 3 days a week and did all the exercises they gave me. With in the year I had full function back. It was a sad and a happy day when I was given the all clear to resume normal activity because I wouldn't be coming back to see Mr Barnes or his staff who I saw for an hour a day, 3 days a week, for many months:)
